I am super excited to have the website up and running, thanks to website designer Ayden Kirke (www.jskirke.work), who patiently listened to ideas, explained how things function, and then built the wire frame to reflect the concept.

It was a total pleasure working with Ayden. I am now able to tinker with design elements on my own, which is totally a hoot. I can upload new paintings and drawings as they are created. This is surprising given how nervous I was to try this kind of endeavour on my own.

Next up for this blog - I’ve begun thinking about and researching rocks and the representation of rocks. In the past, water and clouds have been my usual subject matter. Lately I’ve been fascinated by how satisfying it is to draw granite rock formations en plein air. Working in pen and ink has also been a new revelation.
